Dr. Erich Landen and office manager Cassie Foreman of Landen Chiropractic display the 2012 Chadron Festival of Quilts Raffle Quilt. Landen purchased the first raffle tickets for the queen-sized quilt which was constructed by Carolyn Brennan and Karen Enos of Chadron and machine quilted by Whitney Tewahade of Ta-Da! Art Studios. The quilting duo chose pink and green "Floral Harmony" fabrics from South Seas Imports and used a pattern created by Julie Stanton and Ann Powers of Heartsong Quilts in Hot Springs, SD. Enos added the ribbon-wrapped border to the original design. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and are available from any Quilt Festival Committee Member or by calling Janice McCallum at 432-8930. Tickets will also be available at various Chadron businesses where it will be displayed until the Festival in April. The drawing will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012.
