How do I enter a quilt?
To enter a quilt in the Festival, simply fill out a registration form from the link below, make 3 copies of it, and bring the forms and your quilt to Dawes County Fairgrounds E Norfolk Ave Chadron, NE. between the hours 9a-1p
.No quilts will be accepted after 1 pm on the Thursday.
What else do I need to know?
- Please make sure your name is on a label SEWN on the back of your quilt.
- Quilts will be ready for pick up on Sunday, April 3rd between 5 pm and 6 pm. We have a very specific system of making sure quilts are returned to their owners, so please do not ask to claim your quilt before 5 pm.
May I enter more than one quilt in the show?
Do you have more than one quilt you'd like to share? Great! Just complete one form (and two copies) for each quilt.
HELP! I can't get the form to print!
Can't print the form? Don't worry! We will have forms available on registration day!
I can't make it to the Arena on Thursday. Can I still enter a quilt?
Can't make it Thursday? Not a problem! Drop your quilts off at Madison Quilting and Yarns, 128 W Second St. in Chadron, Mon-Wed. 9 am - 3 pm week of the show. We will collect them Thursday morning and make sure they are entered.
Important
-If someone else is going to claim your quilt, please be sure to note that on your registration form. Without your written permission, we cannot release a quilt to anyone other than you!
-If you cannot claim your quilt on Sunday, it will be taken to Madison Quilting and Yarn call (508)-454-7421 to make arrangements.
